Talks and Demonstrations
I offer talks, demonstrations and workshops to groups, clubs, colleges and universites - whilst I am based in Yorkshire, I am happy to travel and share my thoughts further afield.
Talks include an overview of my career to date: My experiences at Goldsmiths, my MA, lecturing, setting up studio, running a business and exhibiting. I'll bring along samples and sketch books for everybody to have a look at too.
I'm happy to give a devore demonstration and/or 'Devore Dabbling' where anybody can get involved and 'give it a go!'.

A 1 hour talk covering my career and experiences, with an introduction to the alluring process of Devore
£100 + travel expenses
Talk and 'Devore Dabbling!'
We need about 2 hours for this one - there would be an initial talk and the opportunity for particpants to create their own devore sample. I'll bring along all the necessary equipment, so anyone who wants to can 'Give it a Go!'
£150 + travel expenses, then £5 per dabbling partcipant to cover the cost of materials.
Exploring Devore Workshops
This workshop offers the opportuntiy to explore this elusive technique. We learn to appreciate the structure of devore cloth and work with a range of devore fabrics gaining confidence in markmaking and composition. It's an ideal platform for future devore projects and all students will have a collection of samples to take away. It's a jam-packed day so get an early night!
All materials and equipment are provided - just bring gloves, apron and inspiration.
£200 per day + travel expenses, then £25 per particpant to cover the cost of materials [6/10 students]
