Monthly Mondays
Beyond what I had expected, I have realised my love of textiles and you have been inspirational.
As you might expect from the name, each month, on a Monday I shall be running a series of workshops to help you expand and progress your textile skills. I'll help you to develop individual projects as well as inputting new ideas and techniques.
I have 17 years lecturing experience working across a variety of Higher Education scenarios, most recently at the University of Huddersfield where I continue to lecturer part time on Surface Design and Textile Design BA Hons. As a core group develops I'm happy to be guided by their needs to dictate the course content and structure.
Term 1 will cover fabric colouration, painting, dying, basic print ideas, discharge, steam processing and refreshing/injecting devore techniques
All Monday workshops will run from 10am - 3 pm and include all materials, refreshments and buffet lunch £190 per term. Payment by installments is a possibility, please get in touch to discuss the options.
