Follow the step by step illustrated instructions in the image gallery above - just click on the top left picture and follow through. Use this as a guide to help you develop a series of samples or make your newly structured cloth into a seductive scarf!

It's important when you are working to remember that you are altering the structure of the cloth, this effects its translucency and drape, think about working in bold blocks to maximise the potential of the process, possibly contrast these with fine delicate lines to add detail. Don't worry too much about colour while your learning the process, you can add that later...

Devore Velvet - Silk/Viscose natural White 115cm wide £15 per metre

1m of exquisite devore velvet, prepared and ready to devore, dye and develop into a masterpiece! Use in conjunction with devore paste to remove the viscose pile and create stunning devore reliefs. Unfortunately, not 'just any old velvet' will do for this process - it needs to be a specially constructed combination cloth to prevent the fabric falling apart when the man made fibre is removed.

125ml Devore Paste £8 per 125mls

Mixed and ready to use with clear instructions to get you going. Supplied in an easy to use bottle with applicator, you can draw, paint, print sponge or splatter on this product. Once dry, iron to activate then wash out your fabric to see the amazing burn out effects. The paste is mixed by my own fair hand, to a tried and tested recipe that I have developed over the years, it's never let me down.
