I am a Textile Artist working in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Inspired by my environment I dye, stitch and manipulate to explore the potential of cloth.
Studying at Goldsmiths [BA Hons] and the University of Central England [MA] created a strong direction towards site-specific textile pieces.
I lecture at the University of Huddersfield, assist in the co-ordination of the studio collective: Radiant Works and organise Arts events, notably HOST: Huddersfield Open Studio Trail.
Work ranges from hand painted devore velvet landscapes to collographic prints to structural stitched surfaces.
